Consultancy
- Application for electricity connection to the local grid company, SPPG.
- Consultancy and project management.
- Engineering, procurement and construction for upgrading of switchgear , transformer and cable.
- Independent review of the electrical design , done by others for compliance with local code of practice.
- Audit of the electrical system of existing installations.
- Root cause analysis for electrical faults.
Licensing
We provide licensing service for the regulatory compliance to the Electricity Act and its associated Electricity Regulations.
These range from small installations of 400 volts to large installations of 230,000 volts.
Our reference list includes:
- ExxonMobil, Micron at 230,000 volts.
- AUO, ExxonMobil, Keppel Seghers, Singtel DCW, SingSpring desalination, TPC, UMC at 66,000 volts.
- Applied Material, Ascendas, Chevron, Capitaland, Sumitomo Chemical, Singapore Refining Company, Sembcorp, etc at 22,000 volts.
Training
ON Engineers provides a licensed electrical worker (LEW) preparatory course.
It is to share experience and knowledge to enable the attendees to be better prepared in attaining the LEW qualification from EMA (Energy Market Authority) of Singapore.
The course is made up of 8 modules.
- Module 1 – Introduction
- Module 2 – Overview of electrical licensing
- Module 3 – Electrical hazards and safety practice
- Module 4 – Overview of SS 638, Code of practice for electrical installation
- Module 5 – Other mandatory code of practice for generators and temporary supply
- Module 6 – Electrical testing and inspection
- Module 7 – Design requirements for 400 volts switchboard
- Module 8 – Question and answer
